CEIPI MIPLM 2019-20 starts with the lecture module on IP strategy and business model protection

The MIPLM master program started in January 2020 with 18 students from seven different countries in Europe, Asia and South America at the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies in Strasbourg. 1st module of the MIPLM focusses on strategy development and the economy of IP.

Dr. Ralf Uhrich, Patent Litigator at Google the AI first company, presents legal implications of AI at MIPLM

Dr. Ralf Uhrich LL.M., Patent Litigator at Google, manages Google’s European patent litigation docket and prepares Google for the upcoming Unified Patent Court. Dr. Uhrich is in charge of all European patent infringement cases to which Google is a party. At 21st January he presented Googles perspective on AI at the MIPLM program in Strasbourg.

CEIPI Summer School on IP in Europe: 12th edition on 29.06.2020-10.07.2020

The registration for the 12th edition of the CEIPI summer school has opened. Unique in Europe and in the world, this Summer School offers a two weeks theoretical and practical training for both scientific and law backgrounds. In fact, the division of the course into two parts, the first devoted to a general stream and the second a specialized stream, during which students may opt for a “Patent path” or a “Trademark and Designs path” makes this Summer School specific.

New University Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property at CEIPI

In February 2020 the new University Diploma “Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property” will start at CEIPI, University of Strasbourg. It addresses one of the biggest challenges for industry and IP as well: AI. As Andrew Ng stated it: “AI is the new electricity. Enrolment is open for the Master of Intellectual Property Law and Management (MIPLM) until 1st December 2019

The enrolment for the Master of Intellectual Property Law and Management (MIPLM) in the academic year 2019/2020 is still open until the 1st December 2019. The Master program at CEIPI, University of Strasbourg, is dedicated to all IP professionals with at least 3 years professional experience in IP management. Successful participants of the Master program will be granted a Master II, equivalent to an LL.M from the University of Strasbourg.
